This is the blog of Ronald Bartels that wanders on and off the subject of problem management (that is how it started), but it is best described by Ray who says this is Daddy's thoughts! Like the best music is from the Eighties and a wee dram helps in solving most inconveniences.
Why an SDWAN deployment should have two last mile telecommunications providers as default
I have previously written about "How to improve your continuity by thousands of times"
and the underpinning themes in the article also apply to software
defined wide area networking (SDWAN). Two broadband links of poorer
quality than a single MPLS will statistically have a better uptime. This
is one of the fundamental use cases of SDWAN which makes resilience and
redundancy happen in a simplistic manner.
