The de Havilland Mosquito was one of the most successful strike aircraft of the second world war. It was famous for conducting daring raids which included:
  • The attack on Amiens Prison to liberate members of the French resistance
  • Disrupting Herman Goering’s 10th Anniversary speech by knocking out a German radio transmitter
  • Destroying the Gestapo Headquarters in Denmark
