Champagne - nothing better than bubbles - the Awesome World of Things

Champagne is an alcoholic drink made using the Methode Champenoise. More specifically the drink is called this only if it is manufactured in the Champagne region of France. Champagne starts out as a still wine, when the first fermentation has been completed. It is put into the bottle where it is carbonated by a secondary fermentation which takes place in the bottle.
